Maine is well known for its small town white churches and its lighthouses. Along the Down East coast, the town of Machias had several churches, but Centre Street Congregational Church particularly caught our eye. This beautiful, old church is engaged in a fundraising campaign to restore the Tiffany-era stained glass windows that make the sanctuary such a special place. Go to the church's website for more information or to donate: http://www.centrestreetchurch.org/
