Every Christmas season, a single block in Hamden, a neighborhood in Baltimore, goes together to decorate their houses and celebrate the season. This display has come to be known as the Miracle on 34th Street, with apologies to the movie of similar name. A few additions to the display appear each year, but the hubcap Christmas tree, bicycle snowmen, and a the nativities seem to persist over time. LED lights are slowly replacing old fashioned incandescent bulbs, but in all, the spectacle is still pure Baltimore. I felt a couple shots better conveyed the spirit in black and white, but all in all, the colorful lights carry the day. I hope you enjoy the view.
