Flight 93 Memorial was shot in harsh sunlight along a walkway as one approached the long descent line of stone walls marking the final minutes of Flight 93's flight. It formed a bit of an abstract puzzle for me in that there were many geometric elements competing with each other, and so I made the image contrasted black and white in order to lead the viewer's eye through to the notch in the wall. The image was awarded an honorable mention at the January 2021 Arundel Camera Club competition.
