Sliver of Daylight

Sliver of Daylight

A door slightly ajar in the barn at St. Anthony's Monastery in Howard County, Maryland, filters bright sunlight from a summer afternoon. The photo placed second in the Novice Color Print competition for the Arundel Camera Club, October 2012. The photo was actually an HDR image produced from seven individual exposures. It has the feel of an Andrew Wyeth painting.
