This life size bust of Mercury sat almost unnoticed on a stairway windowsill in Hampton House, a nineteenth century Maryland treasure. The September 2012 photo is an HDR image produced from three handheld shots. The photographer took liberties with the formerly cluttered window in the back to enhance the viewer's appreciation for this unusual gem. The photo received Honorable Mention in November 2012 in the open Novice monochrome competition of the Arundel Camera Club.
