Impossible Alcove

This small dry-laid wall lies high up on a sandstone wall in one of the many slots along Comb Ridge in Utah. The ruin seemed inaccessible, lying very high up from the floor of the slot and just below the top of Comb Ridge. The unnamed, unmarked alcove was an unexpected find in an otherwise rocky slot.
