This photo is one of my favorites. It was shot in Summer 2012 at the barn at the Franciscan monastery in Howard County. I used HDR software to pick up the extremely dark corners of the barn as well as the daylight sliding in through the crack of the door. It is interesting how a photo taken many months ago seems to take on new meaning as one journeys through unknown days and nights. I continue to look at the photo and contemplate the metaphor this photo provides for living.
