A portrait of Alex Van Valkenburg made up in Day of the Dead facepaint taken in January 2020, this image was heavily manipulated in Photoshop for this ghostly result. it achieved a Fourth place in the Arundel Camera Club monthly digital contest in February 2020, Death theme. The initial photo was shot using my EOS R with 24-105mm lens at 1/125 sec. and set at f/4, likely at 12,800 ISO. Two other layers from warped views of the mask and a third layer from an old rusty train car door went into the final.
